About The Role
In your role as a Home Administrator at HC-One, you’ll have one key quality that truly sets you apart: kindness. Kindness will guide your work in our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care home. Everyone here understands that our Residents are people with their own stories to tell. Joining HC-One gives you a wonderful opportunity to give back to these individuals.
As a Home Administrator, you will manage administrative systems and processes to support our Home Manager in running the service effectively. This includes maintaining financial records, preparing reports, administering the Time & Attendance system, and processing payroll and HR information—all with Resident wellbeing as the priority.
We are looking for someone with an IT and Administration qualification, such as ECDL, and experience in admin or secretarial support in a busy office. You should have excellent Microsoft Office skills, strong time management, and organizational abilities. Your positive energy and ability to get along with people are essential. When communicating with Residents or colleagues, you should be considerate and kind.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should be able to seek advice and report concerns appropriately, including escalation if necessary.
We offer full training, providing a great opportunity to learn new skills. In return, you will have access to a variety of benefits supporting your physical and psychological wellbeing, including:
* Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG
* Free uniform
* Hourly rate subject to experience and qualifications
* A nutritious meal during shifts of eight hours or more
* Company pension scheme
* 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
* Group life assurance
* Wagestream - flexible access to pay
* Learning and development opportunities with qualifications
* GP online service for you and your children under 16
* Learning from experienced colleagues in a supportive team
* Colleague discounts at over 1600 high street stores
* Confidential Employee Assistance Programme for support 24/7
* Recognition schemes like ‘Kindness in Care’ and Long Service Awards
* Refer a friend scheme up to £1000 per referral
We aim for a quick onboarding process from offer to start date.
We are committed to inclusive practices and encourage applicants from all backgrounds to join our HC-One family.
