Family Court Advisers are involved in cases where families need assistance to agree on arrangements for the welfare and safety of the child(ren), or when the local authority requests Cafcass involvement due to serious concerns.
Children's Social Workers' key responsibilities include:
1. Conducting assessments and engaging directly with children to understand and represent their views and wishes in court.
2. Using expertise in risk assessment and mediation to advocate for arrangements that prioritize the best interests of the children.
Who we're looking for
* Relevant Social Work qualification is essential.
* You must be registered with the Social Work England regulator.
* Ideally, you have a minimum of 3 years' experience working with children and families in a social work capacity.
* Experience in Family Court proceedings and understanding of Private and/or Public Law would be advantageous.
* Organized and resilient, with the ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
