Great opportunity to work as a Lone Security Officer for our client, a leading global security and outsourcing group, specialising in the outsourcing of business processes in sectors where security and safety risks are considered a strategic threat. Staffline is recruiting for a Lone Security Officer to work in Essex with a global company! Must have a valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding. Must also have a CCTV license and Full UK Driving License. The rate of pay is £15.65 per hour. Shift Pattern : Flexibility required Monday to Sunday, up to 42 hours (on average) working 6am- 6pm, 6pm to 6am. SIA Licenses : Security Guarding or Door Supervisor and CCTV are required. Your Time at Work As a Lone Security Officer your duties include: - Monitoring live CCTV feeds to detect security breaches, safety hazards, or suspicious activity - Responding to alarms and alerts, assessing situations, and taking appropriate action - Controlling site access gates and managing entry/exit of vehicles and personnel - Issue visitor and contractor passes and conduct searches upon entry - Handling keys securely and maintaining accurate logs - Performing reception duties, including greeting visitors and managing enquiries - Responding to client/customer enquiries via phone and email professionally - Conducting regular patrols and inspections across the site - Maintaining detailed incident reports, fault logs, and CCTV records - Reporting equipment faults and failures in line with procedures - Assisting with emergency response and incident management - Participating in site fire safety training (provided) - Providing First Aid at Work and operating a defibrillator if required - Ensuring compliance with the CCTV Code of Practice and ISPS regulations Our Perfect Worker Our perfect worker will have the following skills: - SIA Licence required, CCTV and DS/SG - Corporate Security experience for at least 2 years is an advantage - Ex forces would be an advantage - Must be flexible and be able to work days, nights, weekends and have the flexibility to change due to operational needs - Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as customer service at all times - Must have an excellent command of English Language & Good IT Skills - Reliable, Responsible and Punctual - A friendly, professional, courteous and outgoing character - To always take pride in your appearance, ensuring immaculate presentation - Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on-site Key Information and Benefits - 5.6 weeks paid holiday (8 of these will be in lieu of bank holidays - subject to shift pattern and accrual). - Workplace pension scheme. - Life assurance benefit. - Financial support for SIA Licence & renewal. - Contributory Healthcare Scheme. - Eye care vouchers. - Employee Discount Schemes, plus additional on-site benefits! - Progression, training & development opportunities. - Refer a friend scheme. - Free uniform provided.
