Job Title: Electrical Estimator
Location: Kent
Salary: £60,000 Per annum
The Role:

Review and analyse tender documentation, including raising RFIs with the client
*
Prepare and manage enquiries with the supply chain
*
Conduct accurate take-offs in line with standard estimating conventions
*
Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure the most suitable offers are included
*
Prepare detailed tender submissions for internal adjudications
*
Present cost breakdowns, programme durations, and risk assessments at adjudication meetings
*
Ensure timely and accurate submission of tenders
*
Attend project handover meetings with the operations team
*
Work closely with colleagues across disciplines to ensure integrated, competitive bids

The Ideal Candidate:
*
Has experience in a similar Electrical Estimator role with an M&E contractor or main contractor’s M&E division
*
Is preferably qualified via apprenticeship or to C&G/ONC level (or equivalent)
*
Has strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify and manage risks
*
Possesses a team-focused mindset with excellent communication and organisational skills
*
Can confidently manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines
*
Is proactive in suggesting value-engineered solutions for cost/time efficiency
*
Lives within a commutable distance of Kent
