<div><h3>Overview</h3><p>We are looking for two Accounts Payable Assistants to join our team working from our Central region and based at our office in Solihull on fixed-term contracts for 6 months. This post will be working on specific supplier accounts and dedicating their time processing invoices on our systems, verifying details are correct and accurate and the reconciliation of the accounts.</p><p>Bringing together two trusted housebuilding brands, Tilia Homes and Hopkins Homes, untypical aims to make a positive difference to the UK housebuilding market and help to provide greater access to homes which are affordable for buyers. Guided by an innovative approach and a commitment to excellence, untypical focuses on creating sustainable, inclusive communities, delivering homes across the UK that people want to live in and are good for the planet.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Processing/reviewing purchase ledger invoices in an accurate and timely manner to ensure our suppliers are paid as per their contractual terms.</li><li>Reconciliation of supplier statements.</li><li>Working collaboratively with relevant departments to resolve queries promptly to ensure our aged debt is minimal.</li><li>Track supplier queries & complaints and drive resolution via the appropriate escalation routes within the relevant business functions (i.e. Procurement, Commercial, Finance etc.).</li><li>Ensure that all invoices are VAT compliant according to Tilia Homes guidelines.</li><li>Perform ongoing housekeeping activities to maintain clean ledgers.</li><li>Assist with internal and external audits to ensure complete, timely and accurate responses to information requests.</li><li>Actively support the sharing of new ideas and best practice across all areas.</li><li>Support any other reasonable requests on ad-hoc projects or tasks as agreed.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Experience of purchase ledger.</li><li>Practical knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint and flexibility to learn new IT systems & applications.</li><li>Numerically accurate and confident in written and verbal communications with suppliers and subcontractors.</li><li>Ability to analyse and interpret financial information.</li><li>Ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial management.</li><li>COINS experience would be beneficial.</li></ul><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>26 days holiday with additional bank holidays (pro rata)</li><li>Company Pension Scheme</li><li>Life Assurance</li><li>Employee Assistance Programme</li></ul><p>Our people are at the heart of what we do and in order for us to succeed in becoming the UKs most customer-centric housebuilder, we are looking for talented and ambitious individuals to join our team.</p></div>
