The Electrical Commissioning & Maintenance Engineer will support with installations, servicing, maintenance and reactive works.
Our client is a market leading company in a niche sector who have been established for over 60 years. They specialise in the supply, manufacture, design, install and service of engineering equipment. An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Commissioning & Maintenance Engineer to join the business, where you will work alongside a Mechanical Engineer. The Electrical Commissioning & Maintenance Engineer will support with installations, servicing, maintenance and reactive works. You must have a driving licence to apply for this role, and there will be regular overnight stays required.
Job Description for the Electrical Commissioning & Maintenance Engineer:
1. Undertake nationwide installations of engineering equipment and ensure it is running smoothly
2. Be prepared to stay away from home
3. Commissioning, servicing and maintenance of equipment
4. Complete various reactive works
5. Complete site visits after each visit and obtain a signature from the customer
6. Liaise regularly with the Sales and Breakdown departments
Candidate Requirements for the Electrical Commissioning & Maintenance Engineer:
7. C&G Level 3 qualification is essential
8. Must have 18th Edition (BS7671) Electrical qualification
9. Ideally hold an Inspection & Testing certificate
10. Confined space training, first aid training and CSCS card are preferable
11. Must have the ability to work in confined spaces and heavy lifting will be involved
12. Driving licence is essential
13. Be prepared to travel nationwide with regular overnight stays
This role is commutable from: Newcastle under Lyme, Stoke on Trent, Stafford, Stone Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach
This role would suit candidates with the following experience: Electrical Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Service Engineer, Electrical Field Engineer
Hours: Monday – Friday 40 hours per week c(an be 45-55 hours with overtime and travelling)
Salary: Negotiable DOE
