Our client, a prominent entity in the Beauty sector, is currently seeking a dedicated Demand Planner to join their centralised London team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing end-to-end demand planning processes
* Collaborating closely with the procurement team to align demand and supply
* Analysing sales and inventory data to forecast demand accurately
* Implementing and launching the new ERP system, while transitioning from spreadsheet reliance
* Supporting the Head of Operations & Supply Chain to streamline processes
* Contributing to the expansion in both UK and US markets, particularly with M&S, Boots, and more.
* Providing insights and recommendations on product demand trends, especially in the growing fragrance category
* Participating in restructuring efforts within the business context
Job Requirements:
* Proven experience in demand planning, preferably within the beauty industry
* Understanding of procurement processes and timings
* Proficiency in data analysis, particularly with sales and inventory data
* Experience with ERP systems
* Ability to work effectively in a team with no direct reports
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Flexibility to work 3 days/week in the London office, with some flexibility on days including Fridays
* Relevant accreditations in demand planning or supply chain management are desirable
