We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our team on a self employed basis 50/50. The ideal candidate will have a flair for hair styling and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barber, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients while delivering high-quality haircuts and grooming services. Your ability to communicate effectively and understand client preferences will be essential in ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties
* Provide a range of barbering services, including haircuts, beard trims, and shaves.
* Consult with clients to understand their desired styles and preferences.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the barbershop environment.
* Stay updated on current trends in hair styling and grooming techniques.
* Build rapport with clients to encourage repeat visits and referrals.
* Manage appointments and walk-in customers efficiently.
* Assist in promoting products and services offered by the barbershop.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in barbering or hair styling is preferred.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
* A valid barbering qualification or certification is desirable.
* Excellent attention to detail and a passion for the craft of barbering.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Working with in the salons opening hours.
* Flexibility to work varied hours open to discussion.
