Applications are invited for individuals who wish to join our multidisciplinary Adult Community Mental Health Team.
Responsibilities
* Work in partnership to provide psychosocial and psychological interventions, facilitating, enabling and supporting people within their homes and communities.
* Provide a supervisory role to junior members of staff within the nursing team and fulfil the CMHS Duty Worker role.
* Work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team and demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills as a core component of the role.
* Display strengths based and socially inclusive approaches to working, manage change and contribute to improving the lives of people with mental health problems.
Qualifications
* You must be registered on Sub-Part 1: RN3 or RNMH of the UK NMC Register.
* Experience of working with people with a wide range of mental health problems and current knowledge of best practice in Mental Health Nursing.
Contract and hours
* Hours of work: 21 hours, currently Monday to Friday.
* Fixed Term/secondment until July 2026.
* Current NHS Tayside Employees: Written approval must be sought from your line manager prior to applying for this secondment. You will be required to bring this if shortlisted for interview.
