Assistant Psychologist
Park School, Chipping Norton – Fixed Term (52 weeks)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30am – 16:30pm
About the role
The Assistant Psychologist will work under the supervision of a senior psychologist to deliver evidence-based support to pupils. Key duties include group work, one‑to‑one sessions, research, audit and evaluation. The role requires a nurturing approach within a safeguarding culture focused on pupil development and empowerment.
Qualifications
* Undergraduate degree in psychology is essential; master’s degree in psychology is desired.
* Willingness to work towards further qualifications as required.
* Relevant experience working with children and young people.
* First‑hand experience of a range of research methods.
* Experience of quantitative and qualitative research, including data collection, research designs, analysis and report writing.
* Experience working as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
* Experience teaching and/or supporting other health professionals.
* Experience or knowledge of the relevant client group (service‑specific).
* Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
