Job Title: Production and Health & Safety Lead
Location: Bilston, West Midlands (Head Office)
Parking available on site and 10-minute walk from Coseley Train Station
Reports to: Production Manager and General Manager
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am – 3:30pm, 30 minutes unpaid break
We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused individual to join our team as Production and Health & Safety Lead. In this role, you’ll manage health and safety compliance, oversee delivery and quality processes, and support production operations. You’ll play a key role in promoting a culture of safety, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining ISO standards. Key Responsibilities:
* Promote and manage health and safety practices daily, including maintaining records and compliance.
* Represent the company at Group Health & Safety meetings and manage Near Miss Incident reporting.
* Oversee delivery and quality processes, including vehicle maintenance, route planning, and transport compliance.
* Ensure ISO 9001:2015 and 14001 systems are maintained and updated.
* Liaise with production and sales teams to meet customer requirements.
* Assist the Production Manager with operational tasks, including supplier liaison for repairs and waste removal.
Requirements:
* Health and Safety awareness (IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent).
* Competent in Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
* Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
* Full UK Driver’s Licence.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ideal Candidate:
* Forklift licence (desirable).
* Experience in the ventilation industry (preferred but not essential).
* Knowledge of ISO standards and transport processes.
The Package:
* Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 (dependent on experience).
