We are seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Technician to join a well-established organisation within manufacturing and associated construction products.
This is a hands-on role involving mechanical, physical, and thermal testing to ensure compliance with relevant product standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct routine quality control testing on raw materials and finished products including compressive strength, tensile strength and thermal connectivity.
* Prepare samples (casting, curing, cutting, and conditioning) in line with relevant standards
* Accurately record and maintain test data in compliance with ISO 9001 / ISO 17025
* Perform calibration checks and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment
* Identify, investigate, and report non-conformances
* Support internal and external audits
* Maintain high standards of lab housekeeping in line with 5S principles
* Adhere to all health and safety procedures
