SiD Recruitment are seeking a skilled Reach Truck Operator to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating reach trucks and a strong understanding of warehouse operations. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient movement of materials within our facility, contributing to the overall productivity and safety of our operations.
Responsibilities
 * Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload materials from the racking
 * Perform shipping and receiving duties, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management.
 * Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
 * Handle materials with care, adhering to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting tasks.
 * Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and assist in stock management.
 * Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the warehouse environment.
 * Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
 * Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse setting.
 * Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
 * Ability to perform load and unload tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
 * Proficient in basic maths for inventory management and order processing.
 * Experience with materials handling techniques is preferred.
 * Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
 * Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
Shifts:
2 week rolling rota - all shifts are 06:00-18:00
Week 1 -
Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2 -
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
POTENTIAL OVERTIME AVAILABLE
Pay rate:
Standard hours: £13.75
Overtime rate: £20.62
