Job description:
· Liaises with senior staff to determine the range of services to be offered and contributes to the development of sales strategies and the setting of performance targets.
· Compiles and analyses sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and underperformance areas.
· Produces regular reports and recommendations on marketing and sales strategies for senior management.
· Conducts market research and surveys to analyse customer feedback, preferences, and responses to service offerings, pricing, and promotions.
· Keeps up to date with competitor activity, evolving market trends, and industry standards to maintain a competitive advantage.
· Discusses client and customer requirements and uses insights to inform business proposals and service improvement plans.
· Assists in the design and implementation of promotional campaigns, advertising initiatives, and brand awareness activities.
· Inspects products and services to ensure high quality and guest satisfaction, taking the lead in sourcing where required.
· Handles key customer accounts and ensures a consistent, positive experience across all touchpoints.
· Recruits, mentors, and trains junior staff to ensure alignment with service and sales goals.
· Establishes and enforces standards for service and product knowledge across the team.
· Demonstrates the ability to step into a leadership role effectively, motivating teams and managing change.
· Ensures organisational alignment by engaging staff in business changes and ensuring they understand their roles in achieving overall goals.
Job requirements:
· Degree in management or marketing preferred. Other relevant qualifications considered depending on experience.
