Senior Occupational Therapist – Fenland Community Rehabilitation
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist to join the Fenland Community Rehabilitation Team based at Alan Conway Court, Doddington Hospital, Benwick Road, Doddington, PE15 0UG. The role is suitable for an experienced OT.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess, plan and develop specialist occupational therapy programmes for patients with a wide variety of complex needs.
* Manage your own caseload, prioritise referrals according to clinical need, signpost appropriately and undertake assessment of patients with complex and multiple pathologies using specialist clinical reasoning skills.
* Provide supervision of junior staff and students, oversee patient intervention and ensure that Senior Therapy Assistants and Therapy Assistants deliver high quality patient care.
* Work as an autonomous practitioner within the Community Rehab team to provide a high standard of care.
* Travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines. Must hold a full UK driving licence and have use of a vehicle.
Qualifications & Experience
Experienced OT with evidence of complex case management and supervision.
Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
