Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP50,000 per annum + company car/allowance.
An Ecologist is required to join a vibrant and charismatic team with the company’s Head Quarters based in Staffordshire. This hybrid role combines fieldwork and site visits with office‑based tasks, offering a varied and rewarding workload. The successful candidate will support a wide range of ecology‑related activities across multiple rail contracts throughout the UK, with a particular focus on projects in the South of England and Wales.
Responsibilities
Lead, advise, and upskill the business on mitigation strategies for protected species, including dormice, otters, great crested newts, and badgers.
Qualifications
Experience on rail projects, Valid PTS (or previously held), Full UK driving licence, Experience working with dormouse, great crested newt, badger, or otter, BS42020/CIEEM membership.
