Join our Adult Speech and Language Therapy team to work with Head and Neck Cancer, Voice and Acute Inpatients.
Specialist Services
* Joint Voice Disorders, Hoarse Voice Assessment, SLT-led nasendoscopy, FEES, and videofluoroscopy clinics
* Inclusive and committed CPD opportunities, evidence-based practice, audit, research, and staff well‑being
Responsibilities
* Work with inpatients across a variety of wards, including AMU, Critical Care, Frailty, Dementia, ENT, Surgical, Cardiology, Orthopaedic and Respiratory
* Provide outpatient care for Head & Neck cancer patients pre- and post-radiotherapy, maxillofacial and laryngectomy patients, voice and dysphagia services
* Support the Clinical Team Leads with operational management of the Adult SLT service
* Collaborate with Head and Neck cancer multidisciplinary teams and participate in regional Head and Neck MDT meetings
* Deliver training and education to the wider MDT and provide clinical supervision to SLT students and T-level students
* Contribute to service evaluation and quality improvement initiatives
