GENERAL SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for operating multiple pieces of computer-controlled equipment and machinery, ensuring production and quality goals are met. Coordinates activities on the production line consisting of 5 or more employees. Responsible for operating machinery such as: Steinemann, Panfaux, Automaton, Sheer, Collator, Tape Layer, Sakurai, and Laminators (Burkle). JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Follow all machine and process procedures on an automation line, and understand the technology Responsible for maintaining production metrics while maintaining the required Quality standards Managing the machine operations team, choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job. Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications. Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process. Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product. Communicate written and verbal skills are a necessity to program the machine based on the model or blueprint. Follow all OSHA safety protocols. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment. Other duties and responsibilities as required. QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS Basic math skills Maintain regular and punctual attendance and comply with all safety, company policies, and procedures Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and stick to deadlines. Ability to stand for extended periods. PREFERRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE Demonstrate reliability, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. Working knowledge of OSHA, safety regulations.
