As a Production Team Leader at Brett Martin, you will work:
* 12-hour continental shifts (rotating days and nights) including weekends
* Average of 40.25 hours per week
* 7 out of every 14 days / nights
About The Role
As a Team Leader, your role will involve:
Main tasks and duties
Supervision
* Responsible for supervising all employees under your control at any time;
* Manage daily operations within the department according to instructions from the Department Manager, utilizing available employees to ensure efficient use of staff, machinery, and materials.
Production
* Plan, organize, monitor, and control all aspects of production efficiently;
* Coordinate daily production activities, including duties allocation, material supplies, product removal, breaks, overtime, and team support;
* Establish priorities to meet deadlines, organize supplies, and lead in training, safety, quality, and performance evaluations;
* Oversee daily production to meet targets and schedules;
* Ensure products meet quality standards through effective quality control and adherence to procedures;
* Identify and resolve production issues collaboratively;
* Maintain accurate records and reports as per policies and regulations;
* Work flexible hours and shifts as needed to meet production demands.

Desired Criteria
* NVQ Level III Management / recognized management qualification
Required Criteria
* Knowledge of Windows-based software including Microsoft Excel
* Strong technical background and willingness to be hands-on
* Experience in planning, scheduling, and performance monitoring
* At least 2 years supervisory experience in a high-speed environment
