About The Role This post will support the content development and delivery of the two new masters courses Advanced Management (Healthcare Technologies) and Advanced Management (Sports, Business and Leadership). Building upon the success of its AgorIP, All-Wales Intensive Learning Academy for Health & Social Care partnership, and wider City Region working the Centre is aiming to expand its portfolio in support of the University’s civic mission, enterprise agendas and strategy around sport, health and wellbeing. The Agor Skills: Sport, Health & Wellbeing Project draws upon specialist expertise cross faculties to address a skills gap in the current SBCR skills portfolio by creating an Innovation Skills Centre of Excellence for Sport, Health and Wellbeing. The aim is to deliver Swansea Bay City Deal Project initiatives in an open and collaborative environment for online and in-person learning. This will involve a hybrid learning centre, the development of new courses/programmes, and a community of Practice (to connect learners). This will require the creation of a hybrid academic/professional services team to support development of innovation practice and skills in sport, health and wellbeing. This role is an integral part of that team, providing the vital part of that activity, including administration and input to ensure the team operates effectively and efficiently. The role will require oversight of a portfolio of skills programmes (and workshop) opportunities at varying levels of maturity, assisting in setting up the centre of excellence, and helping develop the community of practice. This will involve engaging with senior academics, professional learners, professional service teams, executives and other stakeholders to take the appropriate actions. The ability to work with various stakeholders, by showing - clear organisational skills, understanding the reporting and administrative processes of the funders, excellent time management skills, good interpersonal skills and the ability to be adaptable. The role will also require the background research of opportunities, including to explore resourcing of the portfolio and to help with the delivery of critical project elements.
