As an Junior IT Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our internal IT systems. You will be a point of contact for resolving technical issues, providing efficient and effective support to colleagues across various departments. Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1st line and 2nd line support for IT-related issues via teams, email or in-person.
* Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software systems
* Assist with the setup of new user accounts, permissions, and passwords
* Support remote users and ensure they have access to required systems
* Collaborate with the wider IT team to maintain system security and performance
* Contribute to ongoing IT projects and system upgrades
* Assist in IT projects such as system upgrades and new technology implementations
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* Proven experience in an IT support role
* Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking
* Familiarity with IT hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, etc.)
* Ability to diagnose and resolve IT issues efficiently
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
