Pay: £.00-£.00 per hour + accrued holiday pay
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver dynamic and impactful lessons in the absence of the class teacher, across various subjects and year groups.
2. Adhere to provided lesson plans, following the school’s curriculum and guidelines to ensure educational continuity.
3. Create and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports the intellectual, social, and emotional growth of students.
4. Effectively manage classroom behaviour, prioritizing the safety and well-being of all students.
5. Work collaboratively with school staff and leadership to facilitate smooth transitions during teacher absences.
6. Where required, mark all lessons taught and provide feedback.
7. Offer constructive feedback to school colleagues on students’ progress and behaviour.
Requirements:
8. A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field.
9. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching certification.
10. Experience in teaching secondary students, with openness to Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
11. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to tailor teaching strategies to diverse learning needs.
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
13. The capacity to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic educational setting.
14. A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance, or the willingness to obtain one.
