As a Branch Operations Manager, you will report directly to the Branch Manager and support the day-to-day running of the branch. Your responsibilities include managing staff and resources, identifying sales opportunities, and inspiring customers with tailored solutions.
The Branch Operations Manager will excel at building rapport and creating trusted relationships to ensure we meet and exceed customer expectations. * Manage the team and resources effectively in the absence of the Branch Manager
* Maintain high standards in the branch, including stock and property security, staff performance, and adherence to company policies
* Assist the Branch Manager in meeting and exceeding sales targets
* Manage branch purchasing and stock control to maximise margins and profit
* Oversee stock management and ordering procedures
* Support branch logistics and fleet compliance collaboratively with the Branch Manager
* Liaise with the contracts supervisor to understand contractual demands
* Ensure safety standards are upheld
* Build and maintain relationships with trade and retail customers
* Support the development of team members
* Promote and implement 'What Good Looks Like' standards across the branch
