We’re looking for an individual to join our team as a Technical Engineer in Stroud. You'll build practical engineering skills, supported by experienced professionals. You'll assist the Workshop Team Leader in repairing, servicing, & testing of advanced air quality monitoring systems, most of which takes place in-house, with occasional site visits.
Annual Wage is National Minimum Wage plus benefits which will be discussed at interview.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
Your duties as a Technial Engineer- Workshop include:
* Carrying out repairs, servicing, and maintenance on environmental monitoring equipment.
* Supporting the testing and final build of systems before dispatch.
* Helping investigate faults and propose improvements to reduce failures.
* Reading technical drawings and working with electronic/pneumatic systems.
* Updating the team on progress and status of workshop tasks.
* Occasionally assisting with customer factory acceptance tests and on-site support

Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.
* EAL Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence)
* EAL Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence) – Technical Support
* EAL Level 3 Diploma in Advanced
Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge)
* Apprentices will attend college for two days per week over two years.
* Training, assessments and observations will also be completed in the workplace.
Requirements
GCSE in:
* Maths (grade 4)
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
