ABOUT LEARN TRADE SKILLS
Learn Trade Skills is a growing electrical training centre based in Cheshunt. We help individuals and employers develop real-world electrical competence and gain recognised qualifications. We're building a serious outbound B2B function and want a strong phone-first performer to own employer outreach.
THE ROLE (WHAT YOU'LL DO)
This is a pure B2B outbound role focused on booking qualified meetings with decision makers.
You will:
* Cold call electrical contractors, facilities/maintenance businesses, and specialist installers (e.g. solar/EV/battery)
* Reach decision makers (Owner/Director, Ops Manager, QS/Compliance, Training/HR where relevant)
* Qualify need and book meetings for the senior team
* Follow up via email/WhatsApp and keep CRM notes clean
* Maintain a consistent multi-touch cadence (call + follow-up + reattempts)
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
* You are consistent and comfortable with rejection
* You can follow a script, but sound human
* You understand that the goal is qualified meetings held and pipeline created — not "busy work"
* You keep high standards: accurate logging, clean notes, tight follow-ups
TARGETS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
* Daily outbound call blocks and clear activity standards
* Weekly targets for qualified meetings (booked and held)
* Clean CRM hygiene (every call logged properly)
If you don't like targets and accountability, this role won't suit you.
REQUIREMENTS
* Proven outbound calling experience (B2B preferred)
* Confident speaking with business owners and operational decision makers
* Strong written follow-up (email/WhatsApp)
* Organised and process-driven
* Comfortable with calls being recorded and monitored for training/quality purposes (standard in sales)
NICE TO HAVE
* Experience in construction/FM/electrical/solar/EV sectors
* CRM experience (GoHighLevel or similar)
