Roles and responsibilities:
· Responsible for the goods out area ensuring all jobs have been stored in a safe and organised manner
· Responsible for overseeing the whiteboards in all departments and specifically responsible for management of the goods out whiteboard
· Prepare and dispatch goods for delivery or collection
· Ensure correct documentation accompanies outgoing goods
· Ensure the yard is organised efficiently based on project schedule collection dates
· Loading couriers and taking images of all pallet content lists to be saved inside customer files
· Inspect deliveries for quantity and quality issues and reporting damaged or missing items to the relevant person
· Responsible for quality checking and marking all incoming material sheets – Liaising with production programmer to ensure the online stocks are updated
· Monitoring general shopfloor consumables and ordering as required to ensure we have a minimum stock level at all times
· Ensuring the stores is kept organised
· Liaising with production to assist with wrapping pallets to allow operators to pull ahead on their shift
· Delivering / Collection of goods and materials
· Responsible for the general housekeeping of the shopfloor
· Assisting Production Managers with completing works orders
· You will be responsible for overseeing streamlined production and ensuring parts are promptly transferred between departments to maintain workflow and keep all departments operating efficiently
· General forklifting support throughout the shopfloor
· Assisting Production Managers with batching large orders, including packaging and storing
· Assist on the shopfloor during busy periods or staff absences
· Assist production with regular stock takes of all materials
· Assist with racking inspections and other quality concerns
· Ensure that non-conforming materials are clearly identified, segregated and reported as per internal procedures

· Ensure working in accordance with Temla Laser Ltd ISO procedures
· Report any health and safety concerns within the premises/ machinery to senior management
· Ensure working in accordance with company policy and procedures and guaranteeing a safe clean working environment
· Always using PPE provided and prompting colleagues to follow suit
· Reporting of damaged/ lost tools to senior management
· Ensure adherence to the business code of conduct showing integrity through an honest and hard-working attitude helping to create a positive company culture
· Always displaying a professional manner when dealing with customers, suppliers and other colleagues
· Limiting use of mobile phones to work purpose only
· Use forklifts, crane and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
· The working hours will be changed during busy periods and if it's required to suit the businesses needs
Pay Scale:
Entry Level (in house training to be provided)
Day Rate: £12.80
Day overtime: £19.20
Advanced Level (fully competent)
Day Rate: £13.21
Day overtime: £19.82
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday: 06:30 - 15:30
The working hours will be changed during busy periods and if/when required to suit the businesses needs, usually this will be within the hours of 06:00am and 18:00pm so candidates must be prepared to work between these hours on application.
