Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Planner to join our busy and expanding Natural Resources and New Energies team, undertaking a range of Controls & Performance duties on several high‑profile projects and programmes. This role provides the chance to innovate, collaborate and learn from an experienced planning and scheduling community and a wider controls network.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in using a standard scheduling tool (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.) is essential (must be willing to attend Primavera P6 training as required).
* Practical experience in construction schedule development and reviews (civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation) is essential.
* Practical experience in schedule assurance and optimisation desirable.
* Practical experience in complex onshore natural resources/oil and gas projects desirable.
* Practical application of Earned Value Management (EVM) desirable.
* Demonstratable experience of Cemar Contract Management tool or equivalent desirable.
* Familiarity with NEC contracts desirable.
* Having attended formal training in Tilos Time location software desirable.
Skills and Behaviours
* Ability to interact with management/leadership members when delivering updates on planning progress within a complex project/programme environment.
* Ability to act as a subject‑matter expert, delivering to planning processes on complex projects/programmes along with associated processes & reports.
* Guide the team on appropriate use of systems and tools in relation to planning & scheduling.
* Works to make positive change happen by embracing challenges and opportunities for our clients.
* A UK driving licence or the ability to travel to client sites across the region, as required, is essential.
