Job Description
The Electrical Engineer will provide expertise in electronic and electrical design throughout the development process, from conceptualization to volume manufacturing. Responsibilities include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, performing engineering analysis, designing circuits, creating documentation, and working with suppliers. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, and self-driven.
Education
BSEE or MSEE preferred, or equivalent experience.
Experience
10-12 years in digital, logic, and/or analog design.
Qualifications
The engineer will develop, test, and support electronic boards and subsystems, defining requirements, designing circuits, and test equipment. Skills desired include:
* Digital Design: Data acquisition systems, FPGA logic (VHDL), A/D and D/A conversion.
* Analog Design: Low noise sensors, power amplifiers, capacitance gauges, LVDT interfaces.
* Test Equipment Design: Developing test procedures, hardware/software integration, LabView experience.
* Software: Mentor Graphics, PSpice, OrCAD, MATLAB, LabVIEW.

Context of the Position
This role requires physical ability to perform tasks such as sitting, walking, using hands, and lifting up to 20 pounds. Travel may be required. Vision and environmental conditions are typical of an office setting. The candidate must be able to interpret data, learn new skills, and work under deadlines.
