Project Assistant - Moray

Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Moray, is currently looking to recruit a Project Assistant for an initial 8-week contract with potential to extend, at a rate of £175-£200/day (Inside IR35). This is a part-time role, working 3 days per week on a hybrid basis in the Moray region.


Responsibilities:

1. Support the Programme Manager and Commercial Innovation Lead with administrative and coordination activities related to the Digital programme, including managing Microsoft 365 Teams and financial reporting.
2. Assist in the development, planning, delivery, and reporting of commercial simulations.
3. Support production of project information, monitoring and reporting progress against KPIs.
4. Help prepare project and progress reports, such as Highlight Reports and Board Reports.
5. Organise and attend meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring deadlines are met.
6. Coordinate and attend events and workshops, including face-to-face, digital, and hybrid formats.
7. Manage your own work activities to ensure effective project coordination, resolving conflicting priorities as needed.
8. Build and support stakeholder relationships.
9. Collaborate with other departments, including the Project Management Office, to facilitate reporting and information sharing.
10. Perform other duties as directed by the Programme Manager and Commercial Innovation Lead.


Minimum Requirements:

* HNC or higher qualification in a relevant discipline.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Effective time management and multitasking abilities.
* Enthusiastic and professional attitude.
* Willingness to learn and adapt.
* Willingness to travel as needed.
* Experience supporting projects, preferably in digital, health and social care, or academic sectors.
* Experience organising workshops, events, and meetings.
* Financial administration experience.
* Experience working in multi-stakeholder environments.
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and Visio; familiarity with Apple and Microsoft devices.
* Financial management skills.
