This is a full-time, permanent position, working any 5 out of 7 covering the hours of 14:00–22:00. Some flexibility is needed—after all, logistics is always on the move! What you’ll do on a typical day: Shunting full and empty trailers between loading bays and designated areas, as directed by the Operations team Ensuring trailers are correctly positioned and safely secured for loading and unloading Coordinating with the Warehouse team to assign the correct trailers to drivers and subcontractors Moving trailers safely around the site while strictly following all health and safety procedures Carrying out daily vehicle checks and promptly reporting any defects or issues What you need to succeed at GXO: HGV CE driving license Valid driver CPC and digital tachograph cards No more than six penalty points on your licence (no TT, IN, DD, DR or DG endorsements) Previous shunting experience is desirable We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
