These opportunities are for those who have A-levels or equivalent and looking to undertake a degree apprenticeship (level 6). We will close for applications on 31st December. These opportunities are for our offices in England, Northern Ireland, and Wales. For opportunities in Scotland please refer to the '2026 Scottish Degree Apprenticeship Programme.' Please browse all opportunities before starting your application as we will accept one application per candidate. In your application form, you will be asked to select your preferred discipline, sector,and location, so please read the descriptions below, as this may help you decide which opportunity is right for you. Eligibility If you are successful and are offered an apprenticeship with us, we will inform you who the training provider or university will be for that particular opportunity. These providers will have their own grade entry requirements, so we’re unable to list them all here. However, for our civil engineering opportunties, most providers will expect you to have achieved a Grade C as a minimum A-level in Mathematics and/or one of the sciences. These subjects aren't essential for the other role types, so please list your achieved/expected qualifications in your application form so we can check your eligibility. Job Description As a paid apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience working on real-world projects that make a difference. Alongside your role, you’ll complete classroom-based learning - either in person or virtually - with a reputable college, university, or training provider. Upon completion, you’ll earn a nationally recognised qualification that leads onto to exciting career opportunities. Our degree apprenticeships typically last around five years, depending on the course, and are designed to help you grow both professionally and personally. We Have Opportunities In The Following Teams: Electrical Building Services We have opportunities in the following locations: Cambridge and Bristol Civil Engineering As a civil engineering degree apprentice your role is more than designing infrastructure - it’s about creating resilient, sustainable solutions that improve lives and protect the planet. Whether you're working on water systems, transport networks, or environmental restoration, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team tackling some of the world’s most pressing challenges. We Have Opportunities In The Following Teams: Buildings Energy Transport Water These opportunities are available in the following locations: Altrincham, Belfast, Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Croydon, Exeter, Leeds, London, Reading, Sheffield and Southampton. Electro-Mechanical Engineering As an electro-mechanical degree apprentice in our Transport team, you’ll be at the heart of designing and delivering infrastructure that moves people and goods safely, efficiently, and sustainably. This opportunity is available in our Transport (Highways) team and is available in the following locations: Norwich and Southampton. Environmental Practitioner As an environmental practitioner degree apprentice, you’ll be part of a passionate team driving positive change across sectors like transport, water, energy, and the built environment. You’ll support the development of Environmental Impact Assessments, Sustainability Strategies, and Management Plans, while engaging with specialists across disciplines to deliver sustainable, resilient solutions. This opportunity is available in Cambridge. Project Management As a project management degree apprentice you’ll support experienced project managers in tracking progress, managing risks and opportunities, coordinating meetings, and maintaining project documentation - all while contributing to initiatives that improve lives and shape sustainable communities. Buildings Defence Transport Water These opportunities are available in the following locations: Bristol, Cambridge, Cumbria, Leeds, and Manchester. Rail Systems Engineering As a rail systems engineering apprentice in our track team, you’ll develop the skills needed to support the design, build, and maintainance of the UK’s railway infrastructure. Working on a diverse portfolio of rail projects you'll gain hands on experience supporting engineers across all stages of design - including track layouts, conducting risk assessments and analysing journey times. This opportunity is available in Croydon. Quantity Surveying As a quantity surveying degree apprentice you’ll gain hands-on experience across a full project lifecycle — from early design and cost planning to contract management and final settlements. You’ll work closely with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to manage budgets, assess risks, and ensure financial integrity. Buildings Defence Transport Water These opportunities are available in the following locations: Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Cumbria, Leeds, London, Manchester and Reading. You can also join us as an apprentice in our multi-sector estimating team - you'll work towards a degree in Quantity Surveying while supporting major infrastructure projects across water, transport, energy, and environmental sectors—helping clients make informed, cost-effective, and low-carbon decisions. This opportunity is available in Manchester.
