Eden Mobility is a growing and forward-thinking mobility company committed to improving independence and quality of life for our customers. Due to continued expansion within our Stairlift division, we are now looking to recruit an experienced Lead Stairlift Engineer to support and help grow our nationwide installation operation.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Lead Stairlift Engineer based in North Lincolnshire / North Yorkshire to join the Eden Mobility team.
This role involves leading by example through high-quality installations and exceptional customer care. You will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of stairlifts in customers’ homes across the UK while supporting best practice, quality standards, and the ongoing development of Eden Mobility’s Stairlift division.
Key Responsibilities
* Install straight and curved stairlifts in line with manufacturer specifications and Eden Mobility quality standards
* Work confidently across multiple stairlift brands, including Brooks / Acorn, Access BDD, Handicare, and others
* Act as a senior technical point of reference for stairlift installations and best practice
* Carry out pre-installation checks, preparation of components, and fault-finding where required
* Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures
* Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, ensuring a positive installation experience
* Liaise with Head Office using IT systems for job updates, reporting, and stock control
* Maintain accurate records of completed works and supporting documentation
* Manage van stock, tools, and equipment efficiently
* Maintain a smart, professional appearance and represent Eden Mobility positively at all times
* Support the continued growth and development of Eden Mobility’s Stairlift division
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 2 years’ stairlift installation experience (essential)
* Experience working across multiple manufacturers (e.g. Brooks/Acorn, Stannah, Handicare)
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Willingness to travel nationwide, including early starts, late finishes, and occasional overnight stays (essential)
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Good IT skills for communication with Head Office and stock/job management
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
* Safe and competent use of hand-held and power tools
* Smart, presentable, and professional attitude
