Job Summary
Part-time role for 18 hours per week in Head & Neck theatres. This part-time position will not attract sponsorship.
Successful candidates will be invited to attend face‑to‑face interviews. Remote or alternative dates are not available.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform all Health Care Assistant (HCA) duties in support of theatre staff and patients in the peri‑operative environment.
* Work over a 7‑day service provision within Trust standards and specifications under the direction of the lead Theatre Practitioner.
* Provide excellent, safe patient care as part of four multidisciplinary theatre departments.
Qualifications & Skills
* Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, busy environment.
* Previous experience desirable; training and support provided.
* Motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude.
Working Hours & Flexibility
Flexible shifts, including weekends.
Location & Site Flexibility
May be required to work across both Kettering and Northampton hospital sites, depending on service needs.

Disclosure & Background Checks
A DBS check is required. New starters are required to join the DBS update service (annual cost £16). If not joined, a new DBS check (£49.50) must be paid, and the cost will be reclaimed from the first salary.
Probation
All new starters are subject to a six‑month probationary period.
