The Role
It is a very challenging time for Adult Services, and it is essential that we support people to maximise their independence promptly. If you are passionate about strength-based conversations leading to person-centred outcomes, we invite you to express interest in the Social Worker role in the review team.
This role offers an opportunity to influence and shape the services needed to support our service users effectively. You will develop plans encouraging healthy and independent living and be innovative in their development.
You will be part of the Quality Assurance & Improvement section, reporting to a Social Work Deputy Team Manager who will provide supervision to support your professional growth. Please note this is a part-time position.
About You
You will develop strength-based support plans via assessments/reviews, aligning with the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and other legislation/best practices. You will connect people to preventive and independence services, utilizing technology and equipment, promoting positive risk-taking and creative solutions.
You need to work flexibly and adapt to changes based on the team’s focus and the needs of service users at review points.
For an informal discussion, contact Amanda Symes, Head of Quality Assurance and Improvement at 07385 492546, or Gemma Perkins at 07721 838 765.
