Inbound Sales Agent
Location: Northampton
Salary: £24,900 + commission + benefits
Are you a people person with a flair for sales and customer service? Do you enjoy building relationships, solving problems, and helping customers find the right solution for their needs? If so, this could be the role for you.
We’re looking for enthusiastic Inbound Sales Agents to join a growing, customer-focused team. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers looking to purchase or renew their travel insurance, making every interaction count and ensuring they feel supported and valued.
What you’ll be doing
Handling inbound customer enquiries with warmth and professionalism
Building rapport through genuine conversations and understanding customer needs
Guiding customers through their options to find the right policy for them
Identifying opportunities to add value through cross-sell and upsell conversations
Following structured call flows and FCA regulations to ensure compliance
Consistently meeting personal and team targets while keeping the customer at the heart of everything you do
Developing your knowledge and skills with ongoing professional development (15 hours CPD per year)
What we’re looking for
Strong communication skills – you can explain things clearly, listen actively, and connect with people
Previous sales experience, ideally in a targeted or call centre environment
Resilience and adaptability – you’re comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
Attention to detail and accuracy, especially when dealing with sensitive customer information
A team player who supports colleagues and shares knowledge
Confidence with IT systems (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Patience and empathy – our customers range from their 50s to late 80s, so taking time to understand their needs is essential
