The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching within the Nursery setting, supporting pupils as they develop essential early learning skills. You will create a stimulating and nurturing classroom environment where children feel confident and excited to learn.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering engaging Nursery lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
* Supporting children’s development across communication, literacy, numeracy, and personal development
* Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
* Observing and assessing pupil progress and maintaining accurate records
* Supporting pupils’ social and emotional development
* Working closely with teaching assistants and support staff
* Building positive relationships with parents and carers
* Contributing to the wider life of the school and Early Years provision
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
* Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* Have experience teaching within Early Years or Nursery settings
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
* Be patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic
* Have excellent classroom management and communication skills
* Be organised and committed to maintaining high standards
* Work effectively as part of a collaborative team
