This is an opportunity to apply for a clinical leadership post within Northampton Central CMHT.
Job Responsibilities
* Provide day‑to‑day clinical leadership for the CMHT and support the triumvirate leadership structure alongside a B7 Operational Manager and a B7 Specialist Nurse.
* Ensure delivery of quality evidence‑based, recovery‑focused care, including achievement of key performance indicators such as MaST care standards, record‑keeping audits and infection control.
* Use SystmOne, SMART, MaST and Datix for clinical administration and supervision.
* Oversee and plan the daily workload of the clinical team, ensuring a positive work environment and optimal use of resources.
* Work with the OM to maintain adherence to local and national safeguarding procedures and embed national/local policy.
* Co‑lead planning, organising and oversight of the Referral to Treatment Pathway and waiting‑list management, focusing on clinical quality and safety.
* Chair multidisciplinary meetings, manage complex clinical situations (e.g. ARMS meetings) and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Embed clinical learning from patient safety and complaint investigations.
* Provide clinical supervision to B6 Community Mental Health Practitioners and support their professional development.
* Champion research and development, facilitating teaching and education sessions for the team.
* Understand and manage resource planning, finance, recruitment and HR processes to support KPIs.
Person Specification
Experience
* Band 7 experience in Leadership and Management.
* Community Mental Health experience.
* Quality Assurance experience.
Qualifications
* Leadership and Management Qualification.
* Registered Mental Health Professional.
