As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping students across Key Stages 3 and 4 reach their full potential both inside and outside of the classroom. You will be supporting students with a variety of needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and moderate learning needs.
This role would suit someone who is caring, resilient, and enthusiastic about making a positive impact in education. Previous school-based experience is beneficial, however applicants from transferable backgrounds such as care, youth work, coaching, psychology, or support work are also encouraged to apply.
The Role:
* Supporting students with SEN on a 1:1 basis and within small groups
* Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
* Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence, and independence
* Providing emotional and pastoral support throughout the school day
* Helping implement tailored learning strategies and interventions
* Building positive relationships with students, staff, and families

* Have a genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
* Be confident working collaboratively within a school environment
