Group Accountant – International BusinessLocation: North KentSalary: £60,000 – £70,000 DOE + BenefitsReference: BH-10354Posted by: Goldhawk Associates LtdOverviewGoldhawk Associates is working exclusively with a dynamic and expanding international group to recruit two Group Accountants to join their central finance function based at the company’s Dartford head office.This is a rare opportunity to gain wide-ranging exposure across all facets of group finance including consolidations, financial reporting, audit, FP&A, treasury, systems development, and business partnering. Working within a high-performing and collaborative team, these roles will offer hands-on involvement in global projects, giving real visibility to senior leadership and the chance to influence change.Key ResponsibilitiesWorking closely with the Group Financial Reporting Manager and broader Group Finance team, your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting in the preparation of consolidated group accounts (P&L, balance sheet and cashflow) on a monthly and quarterly basis
* Supporting the delivery of annual audits and statutory filings
* Contributing to the rollout and training of new group finance systems across global subsidiaries
* Monitoring and reviewing monthly reporting submissions from international entities in line with FRS 102
* Preparing balance sheet reviews and reconciliations across the Group
* Managing reporting on group-level overheads and internal cost allocations
* Supporting the FP&A team with KPI reporting, commercial analysis and presentations to senior stakeholders
* Collaborating with treasury to develop group-wide cash and funding reporting processes
* Supporting enhancements in intercompany reconciliation and settlement
* Involvement in cross-functional and systems-led improvement initiatives
* Supporting the Group CFO on strategic financial projects and cross-border reporting activities
* Contributing to a continuous improvement culture through process reviews and ad-hoc analysis
What We're Looking ForWe’re seeking an ambitious and detail-focused finance professional with:
* A finance or business degree and strong academic background (including GCSE Maths and English)
* ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or finalist with 2–5 years post-qualified experience
* Previous group reporting, audit, or financial consolidation experience
* Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency; exposure to ERP/consolidation systems desirable
* Solid understanding of UK GAAP/FRS 102; IFRS experience a bonus
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across teams and regions
* A proactive, structured, and analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
* Willingness to work from the office full-time and collaborate across time zones
* Prior exposure to international or multi-entity organisations is advantageous
