We are looking for an experienced clinical midwife to provide inspirational leadership and management for our Ante Natal Clinic Department working alongside our clinic teams based in our Ante Natal Clinic at James Cook Hospital. The successful candidate will be able to manage the clinical front facing team and the daily operational issues to a ensure safe and outstanding Ante Natal Clinic service for our families needing expert care and compassion. You will develop close relationships with our dependent services at all stages of the pregnancy demonstrating outstanding communication skills required to ensure good working relationship with a wide-ranging multidisciplinary team and families.
Applications are invited for the above post, to work within our progressive and innovative department. You act as an excellent role model and leader to all staff and to provide a combination of strong clinical leadership and expert midwifery practice and supports midwives' contribution to evidence based maternity pathways.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will promote the positive image of the clinical area and the Trust by being a role model, having a clear vision and using direct clinical leadership to ensure an excellent patient experience and a service that promotes both clinical and operational excellence. The post holder will act as a clinical resource providing advice and guidance to junior colleagues.
There is an expectation to work clinically/operationally as required.
