Job Description
Based in the South East Magnum Logistics Ltd is a privately-owned business and part of the Magnum Group of Companies. Due to our expanding truck division we are looking to recruit a Traffic Planner to work at our London Gatewaylocation within the Palletways framework.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to experience all areas of Transport, within a fast paced, growing Domestic & International Environment.
The role will suit an ambitious individual that is prepared to work hard to further their career into Management. Previous involvement in the logistics industry is required and the successful candidate must have at least 3 years office based experience. Career minded individuals need only apply.
The job responsibilities will include :
Transport Planning
· Management and planning daily distribution requirements for a fleet of HGV's and vans
· Efficient control and allocation of resources and ensuring all legal requirements are adhered to.
· Utilise drivers, vehicles, trailers and sub-contractors to collect and deliver all loads against specified collection and booking times, with effective driver de-brief.
· Ensuring that our internal monitoring & tracking systems are organised and updated.
Operation & Compliance
· Understanding and achieving key performance targets relating to the safety and efficiency of our fleet (including utilisation and costing)
· Constantly communicate with our Customer Service teams and Drivers to ensure customer KPI's and targets are achieved and maintained
· Ensure compliance and health & safety in-line with the regulatory framework.

Hours of work. 14:30am to 22:30pm. Rotational Saturday Work requirement. Half day AM, on a 1 in 4 basis

Pay: £27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
