Overview
Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are seeking a Temporary Semi-Skilled Production Operator to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical or general manufacturing background and a keen interest in working in a production environment. You will be responsible for supporting the production process, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring efficient operation of machinery.
Responsibilities
* Operate production machinery safely and efficiently
* Assist with assembly, fabrication, and general manufacturing tasks
* Conduct quality checks on products to ensure compliance with company standards
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Report any issues with machinery, materials, or processes to supervisors
* Assist in the setup and changeover of equipment
* Follow all health and safety regulations, including PPE requirements
* Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production team
Skills & Experience
* Mechanical or manufacturing experience preferred (apprenticeship, vocational qualification, or hands-on experience)
* Ability to work as part of a team and take direction
* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Physically fit and able to work on your feet for extended periods
* Ability to follow procedures
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Hours
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; Friday: 6:00 AM – 12:15 PM
Job Type: Temporary, ongoing
Hours: 37 per week
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
