We are now seeking an experienced Deputy Food Service Manager to support our Food & Beverage operation, with a particular focus on restaurant and events service delivered to the highest standards.
Job role
As Deputy Food Service Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day leadership of our restaurant, bar and events operations. Working closely with the Food Service Manager, you will help drive exceptional service standards, develop and train the team, and ensure every guest experience reflects the quality and reputation of the Cornwall Hotel Collection.
Bar experience is essential as part of our continued cross-training approach within Food & Beverage.
Responsibilities
* Support the Food Service Manager in the smooth and efficient running of restaurant, bar and events services
* Lead by example, maintaining consistently high standards of service, presentation and cleanliness
* Deliver exceptional guest experiences, handling feedback professionally and positively
* Work closely with kitchen, bar and events teams to ensure seamless service delivery
* Demonstrate flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, in line with business needs
About you
* Experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality
* Strong background in restaurant and events service with a high attention to detail
* Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality
* Bar experience essential, with a willingness to support cross-training within F&B
* Proactive, organised and hands-on, with a positive and professional approach
