The Procurement department is responsible for procuring, monitoring, and managing contracts for supplies, services, and works.
A Contracts Manager will oversee specific procurement projects and the development/renewal of contracts for NHS Lothian, including:
* Engaging Service Units and stakeholders with their contract requirements and tendering processes.
* Providing expert procurement advice and expanding procurement activities as needed.
* Ensuring compliance with UK procurement regulations and NHS Lothian’s Standing Financial Instructions.
* Maintaining robust governance of spend and delivering value-for-money procurement options through analysis of local strategies and implementation of contracts.
