Technical Lead (.Net) Salary: circa £65,000 We're looking for an experienced Technical Lead (.NET) to lead the design and delivery of high-quality, scalable applications built on the modern Microsoft technology stack. You will act as the hands-on technical leader for your delivery team or domain, ensuring architectural direction is realised through robust, secure, and maintainable solutions. A bit about the job This role sits within the digital engineering function and focuses on delivery leadership, technical execution, and engineering excellence. You will translate strategic architectural direction into practical implementation, while shaping ways of working, mentoring engineers, and building strong, long-term relationships with product, platform, and architecture partners. Skills and experience we're looking for Provide technical leadership by setting engineering direction, mentoring developers, and fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Design and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and modern architectural practices. Drive excellence in testing and CI/CD by championing automation, TDD, and robust quality engineering standards. Collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, Platform, Security, and Agile delivery teams to align solutions and optimise ways of working. Ensure operational reliability through effective incident resolution, observability, performance optimisation, and secure cloud-native delivery.
