Project Manager at Octavius
We are recruiting for a Project Manager to join us at Octavius.
In this role, you will oversee projects allocated to us on National Highway’s Scheme Delivery Framework in area 12 and 14.

* Ensuring strict compliance with industry standards, contracts, and governance processes.
* Driving financial performance through effective cost control, accurate forecasting, and profit accountability.
* Promoting a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement across all levels of the team.
* Mentoring and developing team members, sharing best practices to enhance skills and project outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience
* Commercial awareness, good level of programming and contract knowledge, familiarity with NEC 4 contracts, and understanding of how project and package P&L impacts corporate finances.
* Experience working for a Tier 1 contractor and managing a project portfolio up to £15 million.
* Degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or related field, professional certification in project management, or relevant experience.
* Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma Methodologies is an advantage.
* Significant experience in highways construction, specifically road building and drainage systems.
* Strong knowledge of NEC or ICE contract conditions and programme management.
* SMSTS certification and a valid CSCS card.
