Job title: Graduate Maritime Services Mechanical Engineer
Location: Cowes (Isle of Wight)
We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 4-5days per week.
Salary: £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus
What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting the design and development of Mechanical Systems, including but not limited to Thermal, Fluid and High-Pressure Air Systems.
• Conducting Computational Fluid Dynamics and Finite Element Analysis assessments of solutions.
• Support failure investigation and fault analysis, including testing of rectification solutions.
• Support design solutions at all stages of the lifecycle from ideation to in service support.
• Support installation of design solutions across product portfolio.
• Produce technical documentation in line with company guidelines.
• Develop and maintain a good working knowledge of Maritime Services Mechanical processes.

The Radar team: BAE Systems provides Radar products and support services to a diverse range of customers worldwide, including the Royal Navy. Qualification requirements
As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant STEM subject, including Mechanical, Aerospace & Automotive.
