We are excited to offer apprenticeship opportunities for individuals passionate about a career in early years education. As an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner, you will gain hands-on experience in a supportive learning environment while working towards a recognised qualification in childcare.
You will work as a member of the nursery team to ensure that all children attending the setting receive high-quality care, are kept safe, and have access to rich and stimulating play experiences that meet their individual needs.
Responsibilities
1. Assist in providing care and education to children under the guidance of qualified staff
2. Learn and apply the principles of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)
3. Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities for children
4. Observe and understand children’s development and learning needs
5. Help maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for children
6. Participate in training sessions and team meetings as part of professional development
7. Work towards completing your apprenticeship qualification in childcare

Training
Paragon Skills is a leading national apprenticeship training provider supporting over 4,000 learners and 1,500 organisations. It has a Grade 2 'Good' Ofsted rating and an achievement rate of 71.4%, above the national average of 65.6%. Learners are supported through regular catch-ups, check-ins, and a dedicated Personal Tutor. The employer will allocate 20% of working hours towards study, enhancing your chances of achieving high grades.
Upon completing this 12-month apprenticeship, you will earn an Early Years Practitioner – Level 2 qualification.
