Join our centralised Financial team, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting the objectives of the Capital Finance Team. This role is integral in building relationships, maintaining value for money, and innovating new working methods. You will be supporting the Place directorate, requiring solid Capital experience.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Work alongside other Finance professionals to deliver effective cost management, budget review, and highlight efficiencies across directorates.
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with finance colleagues and stakeholders in the assigned service area.
* Maintain accurate financial records on our general ledger and supporting systems.
* Develop and maintain financial monitoring systems.
* Prepare, analyse, and interpret financial information to contribute to the preparation of accounts, statutory returns, and reports on financial performance.
* Support, advise, direct, coach, and supervise junior colleagues, ensuring that standards and deadlines are met.
