education and qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Full GMC registration, Entry on the GMC Specialist Register via CCT (CCT date must be within 6 months of interview). CESR or European Community rights
2. FRCR or eequivalent
Desirable criteria
3. MD or PhD is not a requirement but would be looked upon favourably
experience and effectivness
Essential criteria
4. •Evidence of up to date skills in the management of patients with acute haematological
5. •Confident in the diagnosis of haematological malignancies
6. •Evidence of the ability to offer expert clinical opinion in emergency and elective aspects of haematology taking full and independent responsibility for clinical decisions
7. Ability to perform within multidisciplinary team
Desirable criteria
8. •A specialist interest in the management of Myeloma, Lymphoma and myeloid disorders is encouraged
